@Rajat Arora Hi my wife (age 47)having creatinine level as 10 and has been advised a transplant today. We have not undergone dialysis as yet. Pls suggest the process for Medanta and donor availabiity if known to you. regards
  • Primarly need not to worry@shashank27. your wife needs ur support & help. SO be with her in bad times.
Donor buying & selling is completly illegal in india. better if some1 in ur family can donate if they have same name if not register at all hospitals . but waiting list is too high.. '

  • @Rajat Arora: Thanks a lot, sir..but wondering how to get d donor as no one in the family available for the same.

  • Dear All ,
We can not afford to get sick, and just can not depend on the present healthcare system to keep us well. So It's up us to protect and maintain our own body's innate capacity for health and healing by making the right choices. Every individual has their own set of struggles and courage story. I hereby request all such kidney transplant survivors to share their story . How they have survived, What is working for them what is not working for them. All these details can help others looking for such information. http://medlly.com/discussion/904/kidney-transplant-survivors-support-group

Please join this thread and share your own story. What are the preventions you are taking after transplant.

We have very young survivors as well as old people , let us share and support each other.

    Thanks.
